Designs Of The Interior (DOTI) is seeking experienced, energetic and talented Design Consultants to join our DOTI Katy team. 

This is a unique and special opportunity to be part of creating a special retail and design resource in one of America's premier interior design markets.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong sales skills. Understands and able to manage the sales process, from prospecting to closing and after-sale follow-up
• Creative
• Self motivated, highly organized and goal oriented
• Working knowledge of custom home furnishings (including window treatments) and interior design principles (especially space planning)
• Comfortable with a commission and bonus based compensation plan
• Able to work some evenings (for in-home appointments and special events in our showroom) and some Saturdays and/or Sundays
• Willing to go above and beyond the call to provide outstanding service to clients
• Experienced and skilled in quickly building a client base
• 2+ years related work experience strongly preferred. Window treatment expertise highly desired

We offer a comprehensive training program will enable you to learn about our vast selection of products and a proven sales and client management training program which will prepare you for success.

Compensation

Our performance based compensation program, including a salary during your ramp-up period, a very competitive commission structure, and monthly bonus opportunities, is designed to encourage and reward outstanding performance. Health benefit options are available after 90 days of employment. We also offer vacation and merchandise at cost within the first year.
